Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg (/hʊs/ /ˈbi̘ləˑg/ [web] [convenient]) is a subtropical Town located in the Kririsi̊mù Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg was founded by Trënhesí Fards, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg has a yearly average temperature of 26°C (78°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 21°C (69°F). Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg receives an average of 240 cm/y (94 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2118 m (6948 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg was founded durring the late 15th century in fall of the year 1358, by Trënhesí Fards. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Trënhesí Fards.

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg is buildings are located arround a single narrow flagstone mainstreet which forms a clockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The town's top tier civilian fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Right off the bat Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things.

Civic Infrastructure

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg's parks.

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg.

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.

Cultural Notes

Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

In Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg the utterance of expletives is impossible within city limits. This has changed as the limits have changed, but has not kept up with slang, or swearing in foreign languages.

The Stymphalian Bird (Bronze Beak) near Kèr Hùsbi̊lāg are known to be a mutant strain of the creature.
